On Tuesday of this week, our Natural Gas Crews were refreshed on all the safety measures needed to operate and apply SPC Spray Grade coating using our Plural Component Rig.   Addressing our team before the training was our President Mike John Sr and our Vice President of Field operation Mike John Jr.

Like all meetings, a safety discussion was our first conversation with the team.   We extensively discussed the dangers of being around the rig that operates at over 4,000 PSI and what PPE needs to be worn to protect themselves.

They were also refreshed on the operation of the rig, along with application requirements to assure proper application and thicknesses.  We have two of these specialized Plural Component rigs.  We performed our field services work in over 18 states last year and these Plural Component Rigs are a big part of what makes M J Painting a premier painting contractor in the Oil and Natural Gas industry.

Hands on operation and application of the SPC coating products were required to receive certification.  Each of the 28 team members received their certification as certified applicators and operators of SPC spray grade coatings.
